We have had many requests for puppies, and that is very exciting. What isn't exciting is that we currently have no puppies to offer. We bred twice in October, with two of our females, each with a different stud, and neither litter proved successful. That has never happened with us before! Since we are very careful with our "girls" and use a veterinarian to ensure everything is ready to go, it came as quite a surprise to us!!
We have two more females coming into heat soon (only Nature knows when for sure!). We expect them to come into heat in the next few weeks and we will breed them both. That would mean: 9 weeks gestation, and then 8 weeks after they are born before they will be ready to go home.
If we are able to breed in early January, that would mean we would have puppies ready for their new families in May. Unfortunately, we will not have any puppies before then.
