Piper is Preggers! (1/29)

We had an ultrasound appointment for Piper on Friday. This is how we tell, for sure, that she is pregnant. Sure enough, as soon as the Vet turned on the ultrasound machine, she said, "Oh boy! Lots of puppies!" We never have final trust in the number of puppies shown by the ultrasound, but the early "guestimate" is nine!

Piper is a 40 pound "mini" Goldendoodle. Our Vet says she needs to lose a few pounds - after her pregnancy. (Don't we all!?) As my Dad, a lifelong sailor and Navy-guy, would say, "She's a bit wide in the beams." She is very playful and active, but as my Doctor tells me, "If you work out enough to burn 3 donuts worth of calories, but you ate 5, it ain't going to work!" Enough about that delicate topic...

"Who eats more than they should, but is happy and active and fun anyway?"

Piper happily raises her hand!

Here are some "more normal" pictures of Piper:

Mostly normal...

The dad this year - as it is Piper's second litter - is Toby. He is a 14-pound AKC registered miniature poodle who was also the dad for our litter with Biscuit last summer. He is a people puppy! He loves to meet people and he is very gentle and friendly.

I'll post more info as it becomes relative, but we expect Piper's puppies to be born around the 8th or 9th of March, and then they will be ready for their new homes in early May.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions: Info@CuteGoldendoodles.com

Thanks!

How Bernedoodles See Themselves (1/2/22)

A snippet from www.SherwoodFarms.dog :

Hello world! I am "Passion Flower, Snuggler of Humans". There is NOTHING I would rather do than snuggle with a person. If you have a lap, I will love you!

I'm supposed to say I am an F1 Bernedoodle that will grow to about 75-80 pounds, but don't let that scare you. I will love your lap all the same.

My siblings and the other dogs I've met are all nice and friendly, but they don't snuggle like I do! I am the QUEEN of SNUGGLING! I don't know how I could ever like a home more than here, but if you like snuggling, I will love you! Come over and let me prove it to you!

Bernedoodle Puppies - From our sister site (1/1/2022)

I copied this over from our sister-site: www.SherwoodFarms.dog  That is our web page for non-Goldendoodle dogs.  Still wonderful dogs, and still raised right here with us, but we branched out into Bernedoodles, and such.

Puppies Available:

We have 2 boys and 2 girls available. They are 6 weeks old and are absolutely adorable!

These fuzzy, furry, fluffy, and friendly puppies want you to hold them and love them. They are incredibly affectionate and loving. These puppies will grow to about 80 pounds - but they will still think they are lapdogs!

Mom, Terra, is an AKC Bernese Mountain dog, who weighs about 102 pounds, and dad, Frankie, is an AKC standard poodle who weighs about 75 pounds.

These puppies should be low-to-no shedding and will just love being near their humans. They were born on November 20th and will be ready to go to their new homes on Saturday January 15th. They will be fully up to date on vaccines, de-wormed, and will be micro-chipped. They come with a 2 year health guarantee.

Let me know if you would like to come and visit!  The puppies would love to meet you!

We are offering them at $1,800 each, including a $250 deposit to reserve your special pup.

Here are some pictures:

Mr. Orange RESERVED (collar): He is widely considered the prettiest puppy in the litter. That's a view he greatly agrees with. There is a little attitude in his eyes, but he really doesn't let it out. He's fun to play with, and he loves belly rubs.

Miss Purple: She is most happy when she is being snuggled. She doesn't like to be left alone, and wants to be held in your arms. She is so sweet!

Miss Red: She is stunningly beautiful. She has some white on her chin, and brown eyebrows, but most of her face is black. Plenty of coloring, but her more solid-color face makes her stand out - and hard to photograph... She is very calm and playful.

Mr. Blue: He did NOT want to be photographed today! I'll post more pictures soon, but these will give you an idea of his coloring. He's actually quite calm, but he didn't want to sit still. He has such fluffy fur on his head, he is too cute!

Miss Brown: "Riley" RESERVED:  This little snuggle-bunny is so loving and affectionate. She wanted to give my wife kisses before we took her picture. She has been reserved and will live with a wonderful family.

Mr. Green: This guy won the daily award for calmest photo participant. He just sat there and did whatever we asked him to do. Mr. Compliant! He has wonderful coloring and a great, calm, demeanor.
