Adorability Update - 9-25

We have 2 girls remaining from Harlow’s litter. They are 8 weeks old and you can take them home with you as soon as you fall in love with them – which won’t take long, once you meet them!

Miss Black and Miss Red are ready to accept the challenge of melting your heart. In order to make their job even easier – as if that was needed – I have agreed to lower the price on these two fluff-balls.

These puppies were originally offered for $1,500 each, and that is still a fair price. In order to get them to their forever homes quickly, I’m lowering the price to $750 each – or both for just $1,000. Yes, you can keep the two sisters together, playing and romping around, for less than the previous cost of just one.

Why am I doing this? Simply put, I’m not a lover of money; I love to play with these sweet pups while they are at our home, and then find people who are able to take them on to the next stage. They are ready for their permanent families, and I want them to get to those families quickly. The (family-owned) business-person inside me wants to hold on a little longer, but that isn’t fair to these adorable cuties.

I’ll insert the slow-motion videos I recently took of them, and then some pictures from yesterday, so you can easily see what I mean. Please get in touch with me quickly – these puppies will NOT be here long.

Miss Red (Available): My kids would not be surprised to see me start with her. They know she’s my favorite. I just love her size and playfulness. She’s active, but not crazy; she’s cuddly, but not needy. She’s ideal – and looking for a forever home! (Check out her white paws in the video!)

Miss Black (Available): She's the smallest in the litter and she loves to grab a toy and run away from her siblings with it. “Play” is her middle name – well, it will be if you choose to name her that... She also loves to snuggle with my daughter and fall asleep in her lap.

Vet Visit Day!

Today I took the puppies in to get their checkups. Our local Vet is so nice and accommodating. They claim our puppies are always the nicest and friendliest, and that our visits make their day. I don't even care if they are "just being nice" - we love our puppies and we agree with the Vet!!

We still have 2 puppies that are looking for homes. Please let me know if someone you know is interested in playing with the puppies. We like to make friends!

ONLY TWO LEFT!!

Much to the horror of my daughter, Miss Purple ("Potato") has been adopted. My daughter was hoping no one would want her - as if that's possible - and that we would keep her. Sorry, Honey!!

Miss Red and Miss Black are available and waiting to meet you!!!

Puppy Videos - 6 1/2 Weeks old!!

Before the "big show", first some details: The puppies are F1b Goldendoodles. Their Mom, Harlow, is an F1 Goldendoodle (half standard poodle and half golden retriever). Their Dad, Oliver, is an AKC registered standard poodle that we use for many of our litters. This makes the puppies (roughly) 3-parts poodle and 1-part golden retriever. This makes the puppies even less likely to shed or cause reactions with allergy-sensitive people

Both parents are about 45 pounds so we expect the puppies will grow to about that same size and be what we call, “medium”. They should be about 20” tall (at the shoulders) when grown. You can see more pictures of Harlow and Oliver on our “Mommy Dog” and “Daddy Dog” pages, respectively.

Now, the real reason you're here:

*******

People often comment: “Sure, they look cute in the pictures, but what about in real life? What are they like?” Well, through the miracle of modern technology, I proudly present this batch of adorableness!!!!

(If you’d like to see the puppies face-to-face, let me know and we can find a time to have you come out and play with them and see for yourself!)

Enjoy!

Miss Red (Available): My kids would not be surprised to see me start with her. They know she’s my favorite. I just love her size and playfulness. She’s active, but not crazy; she’s cuddly, but not needy. She’s ideal – and looking for a forever home! (Check out her white paws in the video!)

Miss Green (Adopted): Miss Green is super calm and mellow – but full of puppy spunk. She loves to play, almost as much as she loves to watch what her siblings are doing. It’s a very fun dynamic. She takes everything in, and processes how to act.

Miss Purple (Available): Miss Purple – or “potato” by my kids (because she looked like a baked potato when she was born) – loves to run to anyone who will play with her. I imagine she will be great at fetch, and love to go on walks. Her coat will have a loose wavy-ness to it and is so incredibly soft.

Miss Black (Available): She loves to grab a toy and run away from her siblings with it. “Play” is her middle name – well, it will be if you choose to name her that... She loves to snuggle with my daughter and fall asleep in her lap. She is our “snuggle-bunny” this litter.

Mr. Blue “Marvin” (Adopted): Marvin has always stood out in this litter. Not only does he have a cute white patch of fur on his head, but, as the only boy in the litter, he has had to learn how to be “sensitive” and “in touch with his feelings”. He is very good at considering these points – and then jumping on top of one of his sisters and wrestling her to the ground. He LOVES to play!!

Puppies and Children! What Could Be Better?

I used to dream about this kind of fun when I was little. Can you imagine how much fun these children (and puppies!) are having?

Come on over and play with the puppies! You’ll love it!

Friends, Friends, and More Friends!

We love having friends come over and play with the puppies. The more the merrier! There is no doubt these puppies are well socialized.

Spa Day!

To celebrate the end of the first week of school, we had a bunch of school friends over for a "Puppy Spa Day". We had 9 teens playing with the puppies, helping to bathe them, dry them, ...and basically wear them out.

We had a lot of fun, and the puppies got to play with many new people and they all had a great time!

Miss Green on the left and Mr. Blue on the right.
Miss Red: (Available): Miss Red loves to play. She loves to jump on her siblings when they aren't looking, but she'll do it when they are looking too! She is the smallest puppy in the litter - but not by much. She is active and she also loves to be held. She likes it when I hold her as I'm doing things - like feeding her siblings, or even just getting some lemonade from the fridge. She took to the water very quickly. She had no problem with water over her head. She's a cutie!!

A bit blurry, but you get the picture.
Miss Green (Adopted):  Miss Green is definitely the most "chill" in the litter. She doesn't care what is going on; she just does what she wants. Sometimes that means she's right in the sibling fray, and other times that means she's watching from the sidelines.

Mr. Blue (Adopted) "Marvin": As the only boy in the litter, it's natural for people to look for signs of him being more aggressive, or domineering. He's not! If you didn't know he was the boy you wouldn't see any differences. He's a lover and a player.

Miss Black (Available):  As soon as Miss Black sees a toy added to their area, she is the first to run for it. She loves our fleece toys and loves to play tug with her siblings. She has the darkest coat in the litter and she loves to snuggle with people.

Miss Purple (Available): Miss Purple did not like the water. She wanted to crawl out whenever she had a chance! I think she was mostly interested in getting back to play with her sisters. She LOVES to play with the puppies. She continues to be the crowd favorite. People always gravitate to her first. She is adorable.
