Look! They Move! (12/2)

Here is a short video - unless watching puppies play around is boring to you, in which case it may be a LOOOOONG video. That's your choice!

Today, as I was cleaning their eating and sleeping area, I set up my phone on a tripod to just catch the puppies playing. That stunning, and earth-shaking plot is the basis for the following video.

While the puppies played, I was in the next room cleaning (so you might hear me in the background), and I also had the radio on (I think Van Morrison was playing, although I don't believe he endorses my puppies - or even knows about them. That's his loss!)

The Fabulous Five (12/1)

We have five adorable fuzz-balls available and looking for their forever homes. These 5 boys (sorry, no girls still available) are 7 weeks old, and will be ready for their new families after their Vet check up on December 9th. They are F1B Medium-sized Goldendoodles and should grow to about 45 pounds.

Here are the 5 available boys (in no particular order):

Mr. Black is a curly, curly, ball of love. He has the curliest coat in the litter, and he is currently about 2 pounds heavier than any of the rest. When your siblings only weigh 10 pounds, and you are at 12... you look huge. (I still don't expect him to be much outside of our estimates of ~45 pounds.)

He is rather low-key, and prefers to snuggle in someone's lap vs. wrestle with the others. He reminds me of a teddy bear. Impossibly soft and cuddly.

Mr. Brown has an adorable combination of dark, curly hair and white patches on his nose and chest. A family who came to adopt a girl almost chose him instead. He stole their hearts! (The Dad put his foot down and they adopted a girl instead)

Mr. Yellow loves to play with his siblings. He runs around and jumps on them and then runs off and "attacks" another one. He loves to play, and squeeky toys are his favorite.

Mr. Green is my favorite. (I know I'm not supposed to have favorites!) He enjoys playing, but he's that one child in a large family who would prefer to be left alone. He is adventurous, and certainly not shy, but he just doesn't want his 8 siblings jumping on him all the time.

Mr. Purple is a wiggle-worm. This "almost in focus" picture is the best I could get. He didn't want to be stopped. it was play time! He has always loved belly rubs, but on picture day he was busy playing!

Extra Update (11/16)

Pictures! Finally, Pictures! (11/16)

After quite a few delays (sorry!), I now have pictures to show of these puppies. 

REMINDER: They are 5 weeks old, and will be ready for their new homes and families on December 10th. (If it needs to be a Christmas/Holiday surprise, let me know and we can work out special timing.) The puppies were born on October 12th, are F1B "Medium" Goldendoodles, and should grow to about 45 pounds. They are soft, cuddly, adorable and fun!

I will mark pictures I'm posting by the color of their collar. There are 3 girls and 6 boys.

First, a whole bunch of group shots:

Then, 2 seconds later: "Wait. What's that over there?"

And now, for the individual pictures. I had to hold them all because they were being quite squirmy. These are truly in random order.

Mr. Brown: (AVAILABLE): "Mr. Cuddles: He is truly a snuggler. He loves to crawl into my lap so I can hold him. He's a kind, gentle, and happy guy.

Miss Orange (AVAILABLE): She is the last girl available and it just about came down to a flip of a coin. When the families selected Miss Dark Blue and Miss Light Blue, Miss Orange was making it tough to decide. She is a cutie and has great color (white toes!) Whoever adopts her will be very pleased to hear she is still available.

Mr. Red (RESERVED): This little guy is my favorite. He has been the smallest of the litter and my wife helped him get all of his nourishment by bottle feeding him twice a day for 3 weeks - just to add more calories to him. He has the darkest coat of the litter and his hair is currently the straightest. He is adorable and precious. His siblings never picked on him, and he was always right there eqating as much as he could. I can't tell you about his new family, because it's a surprise (shhhh!), but I think he will be a little spoiled!!

Mr Green (AVAILABLE): Not only is he adorable, but he is an adventurous self starter.He likes to do things his own way, and in his own time. (That's why only one picture with him turned out!) Sometimes he will be the leader and explorer, and other times he will just stoically sit and watch the others. He loves to be held - especially for belly rubs - but he doesn't need micromanaging.

Miss Dark Blue (RESERVED): "Bourbon" is a stunningly pretty girl with a great personality and temperament. Her patches of white and the curliness of her coat made her stand out and earned her the first selection position. She is going to a wonderful family and will be HIGHLY loved!

  

Mr. Purple: (AVAILABLE): This beauty is quiet and soft-spoken, but loves to run and be held. He also likes to lick the dried puppy food off his nose!

 

Mr. Black: (AVAILABLE): This curly guy is just a big teddy bear! He just flopped into my arms with his curls and calm attitude. He's so fluffy! He also wanted me to take a picture of his white "socks" on his back feet. He thinks they're pretty special!

He also has dried food on his nose...

Miss Light Blue (RESERVED): "Kona" This "cutie-patutie" is the queen of snuggles! She loves people - especially those who give her belly rubs! She has been adopted/reserved by a wonderful young couple who are sooooo eager and excited!

Mr. Yellow: (AVAILABLE): This charmer is pretty proud of him being last to post, because he heard me say, "the besty for lasty", and it's going to his head! He is very quick to play and loves to show off his pretty white chest.

Quick Picture Update

For those of you who have been [patiently] waiting for new pictures, I apologize for the delay. We had a "technical glitch" in our weekend photo shoot - which is just a fancy way of saying the pictures didn't turn out good enough to bother posting. 

I'll be taking more today, and should get them uploaded tonight.
