4 Weeks Old - Playing in the Grass!

Finally! Here they are. I tried to post these pictures last night, but my computer was being difficult – just like I am in the morning, before coffee.

Anyway, the puppies turned 4 weeks old yesterday. They are playing with each other all the time – unless they are sleeping, which is still most of the time. They are all healthy and strong. Their personalities are starting to show themselves, and it is a fun time.

As a reminder: The Mom is Lilly, and the Dad is Kramer. (You can click on the links for details about them.) We expect these puppies to grow to about 30-35 pounds and be very light in color (mostly white). They are F1 Goldendoodles so they will be “low-to-no” shed and not likely to cause allergic reactions. They will be ready for their new homes on January 12th. At that time, they will be up to date on all of their vaccines and standard de-wormings, and will have had a vet checkup as well.

Here are their pictures from yesterday’s romp in the front yard. This was their first time in the grass, and they loved it! Very exciting for them, and it was fun for me to watch them start exploring. The 2 girls are a little "browner" in color and have a red or purple collar. The boys are more "whiter" and have light-blue and black collars. The one with the cute white on her face is Miss Red.

3 Week Old Puppies - Lilly - 2018

Lilly's puppies are now 3 weeks old! Their eyes are all open and they are walking on their legs more and more. Everything is on schedule and going well. The next "milestone" will be their teeth - which should start coming in within the next week or so.

Here are pictures of the puppies from today - their birthday - and a few straggler pictures from the past week or so at the end. Some of these pictures have been posted on our Facebook group, so if you haven't joined there, you should!

 Miss Purple:
"Is it OK if I just sleep here?"

"Did you say I'd get a treat?"

Mr. Black:

"Look at me! I can be a stuffed animal too!"

Miss Red:
"You're not my mother!"

"OK. I'm leaving!"
Mr. Blue:

This is when Lilly came over to see what was going on. Lost focus.

This is post photo-shoot. Puppies will sleep in any position at any time. No modesty required!

Lilly's Puppies 2 Weeks Old!

Time has sure flown by... These adorable balls of cuteness are now 2 weeks old. Their eyes are starting to open and they are just trying out their legs. Everything is on schedule!

Lilly is a wonderful mom - she always has been (this is her 3rd litter) - and her puppies love snuggling up right next to her. Lilly's disposition is so mild and gentle, we can't wait to see these puppies get bigger so their personalities start to show more.

We have 2 boys (Mr. Blue and Mr. Black) and 2 girls (Miss Red and Miss Purple). They are all white or "off white". The girls appear to have some brown in them, but that will fade away as they grow. These puppies should grow to be mostly, if not all, white. They should weigh about 30-35 pounds when grown.

Miss Red:

Cute lighter markings on her head and nose.

Mr. Blue:

He was mostly sleepy and not interested in pictures!

zzzzzzzzzz…..

I'm frequently asked for a picture like this to compare the relative sizes. At 2 weeks old, it's hard to tell, but they are all about the same size. Miss Red might be a little smaller, but it's too early to judge.
