New Puppies (Finally!) Coming Soon (Updated 10-21-18)

Nature finally decided to bring puppies back to us! Lilly, our beautiful English Cream Retriever, was "due" to come into her heat cycle in August, but she apparently decided that was too hot, so she waited until late September. Mother Nature makes the rules - not me!

Anyway, Lilly had her ultrasound on Monday and we have 5 confirmed puppies heading our way. There are almost always more puppies than the ultrasound shows, but the Vet was very comfortable saying 5.

They are due to be born on the day before Thanksgiving! That means they will be able to go to their new homes by the middle of January. This will give you time to deal with all of your Christmas and Holiday travels and parties, and then hunker down and play with your new puppy!

Lilly, the Mom dog, is a wonderful girl who lives in a quiet farmhouse with an amazing "human". Miss Jennifer owns the home (which she also rents out on Airbnb) and an Art Studio where she teaches children "Practical Arts" like sewing, clothing design, and all kinds of cool stuff. She even teaches cooking classes. Here's her site if you are interested: LINK.

Lilly lives a VERY happy life with Miss Jennifer and her guests!

Lilly is a smaller sized English Cream Golden Retriever. That means she is shorter than "normal" Golden Retrievers, her coat is a creamy white color, and her eyes tend to be darker. Those are the most notable differences between "American" Golden Retrievers and their English Cream cousins.

You wouldn't be able to tell from looking at her, but Lilly weighs 55 pounds. She looks much smaller than that; English Creams are very dense for their size. To bring the size of the puppies down a little, we are trying something new this time. We have contracted with a miniature poodle, named "Kramer". You can see his pictures on our Daddy Dogs page, but here is a quick one so you can see how cute he is:

We haven't tried this size mixture before, but if we combine a 55 pound Mom and a 16 pound Dad... Is 30 - 35 pounds a fair estimate? That is our goal. We strive to be fair, honest, and to have wonderful family-sized dogs.

Since this is a first for us, we are offering these puppies at a special rate of just $1,500 each. (Our typical summer prices are ~ $1,750 each, so we are hoping this will be an exciting option for you!)
