Penny's Puppies - 3 Weeks Old (3/31/2018)

Technically, tomorrow is the 3 week birthday of these adorable balls of fur, but it is also Easter Sunday, and I will be busy most of the day.

We are down to just 2 available boys in this litter. The girls are going to be selected this coming Friday evening - (4/6) - and the boys will have their Selection Sunday on the 8th.

Penny was pretty stressed today with me trying to take individual pictures. She kept crawling into my shots and sitting in front of the puppy I was photographing. I'll try again on Monday, but I do have some nice group shots, and a video, for your viewing pleasure.

The Girls are "Miss White" and "Miss Purple" and the rest are boys (Dark Blue, Yellow, Orange, Light Blue, and Tan/Beige)

Almost all of them have their eyes fully open - except when they sleep - and their legs are getting stronger. As you will see, the term "dog-pile" really fits well. They really like to crawl on top of each other and snuggle in.

I'll try to get individual pictures in the next day or so.

Penny's Puppies - 2 Weeks Old! (3/25/18)

Penny's adorable blobs of cuteness are now 2 weeks old! (Seems like just yesterday...)

Their eyes are starting to show signs of opening, and they are starting to use their legs as legs, and not just paddles. These actions are right on target, and "all systems are go" The puppies are growing, as expected, and Penny continues to be a loving and caring mommy.

Penny had a total of 7 puppies - 5 boys and 2 girls. We have 2 boys and 1 girl reserved - we'll make final selection decisions in the next 2 weeks. That leaves 1 girl and 3 boys still available.Let me know as soon as possible, if you are interested in being added to the list.

Now for the pictures! These are in no particular order, just which ones were closest to where I was.

HELPFUL HINT: I am often asked about the coat of the puppies, and what they will look like when they are older. Over the past 8 years, I have seen young puppies with curly coats end up with straighter coats, and vice versa, however those changes are less common. Penny's coat is curly, and naturally weaves together, almost in braids. The Dad, Billy, has a standard straighter coat. If you want a grown dog with a curlier coat, then selecting a puppy with a curly coat will get you much closer to your goal. Final coats most often "come in" around 9 months of age. We will see tendencies now, but until their final coat comes in, I really can't promise anything - I wish I could!

Here we go! (Tapping on a picture increases the size of the image)

Miss White

Mr. Orange
He is the smallest of the boys, and is showing a wavy/curly coat. She also has a little white "blaze" on her chest.

You can just see the white blaze on her chest
Mr. Light Blue
He started his photo shoot more interested in sleeping than "posing," but once he got into it, he really perked up.

Mr. Yellow
A true "sleeper". He wanted to take a nap, and nothing more.

Mr. Dark Blue
He probably has the darkest coat right now, and his eyes are the closest to being open.

Miss Purple
Our second girl. Cute and adorable. A little camera shy, but cute and snuggly.

Cute little white fur under paws.

Mr Tan (My daughter things I should call him "mr. Beige" but I'm not sure I'm ready for that...)
It's quite possible that he slept through the entire photo shoot. He certainly was less "animated" than many of them.

Penny's Puppies are HERE!!!!! (UPDATED: 3/12)

On Sunday morning (at 6:00 AM - in case you want to feel the pain), Penny started delivering her puppies. We were expecting, according to the Vet, "5 or 6 puppies." "Penny, the Overachiever" delivered 7 healthy puppies. 5 boys, and 2 Girls.

These puppies will be ready to go to their new homes approximately May 5th. They are F1b mini-Goldendoodles and we expect they will grow to about 25 pounds and be about 15 to 16 inches tall at the shoulder.

You can find more information on Penny (the Mom), Billy (The Dad), Pricing, Contact Info, and various other info on the tabs above. (Our mobile site has a drop down menu starting with "HOME")

Now to the fun stuff: Here are pictures of Penny and the pups.

Penny is VERY attentive and nurturing
