More Penny Pictures (2/19/2018)

Penny just got her grooming cut to get her ready for her puppies! We are about 3 weeks away from seeing her puppies, and we are all getting excited!!

Here are some pictures from post-grooming today. You can better see her eyes and see how sweet she looks.

Reservation Status for Penny's Puppies (Updated 2/15/2018)

We officially have 2 puppies reserved from Penny's upcoming litter. The first GIRL, and the first BOY have been reserved. We are expecting the puppies to be born around March 10 - 13.

Puppies Confirmed! (Update 2/1/2018)

I took Penny to the Vet yesterday and we were pleased to discover that Penny has, in the words of our Vet, "Five or Six puppies - probably. It's hard to tell on such a small dog, but at least 5 and probably less than 12!" Ok. Well, thanks for the details!

So, we are expecting at least 5 puppies due to be born about March 11th. We will know the sexes at birth and it will be fun to have Penny nurse and care for them. She is such a loving dog; she's going to be a great mom!

Penny is about 23 pounds and 17 inches tall at her shoulders. Billy, the Dad, weighs just over 30 pounds and is no more that 20 inches tall - just a bit bigger than Penny.

We will nurture, love, and pamper the puppies for the first 8 weeks, and they should be ready to go to their new homes by May 5th or 6th (just an estimate at this point). They will have all of their vaccines current at that time, they will be dewormed multiple times, and will be checked out by an independent Vet before they go home.
