Quick Update - Puppy Pictures and stuff... (10/29)

Lady's puppies are now just over 2 weeks old. In the next few days their eyes will finish opening - puppies are born with their eyes totally shut - and their legs will soon be strong enough to fully support their weight.

The time between week 2 and 3 is a fun time. The puppies begin their transformation from "adorable blobs of fur" to actual puppies.

I'll post more and more pictures as we go forward, but here are a couple just so you can see where they are this week. As a reminder: The puppies with Light Blue, Bark Blue and Orange collars are girls - all the rest are boys.

Thanks!

Lady - the perfect mom - always keeping an eye on me...

A very happy puppy!

All of the white paws..

For Those Patiently Waiting... (10/19)

I have now contacted everyone on our wait/interest list. If you haven't received a message or email from me, and you think you are on my wait list, please let me know SOON!

I hope to know by tomorrow (10/20) where I stand with availability of girls and boys. Girls typically go quickly, and there is a good chance the three we have will be adopted in the next day or two.

"Please be patient! Our operators are currently assisting other customers. Your interest is very important to us. We will be with you shortly" [cue Spotify playlist of hold music...]

Here are a couple pictures I took today:

The three girls are in the Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Orange collars. The remaining puppies are boys.

Finally! Some News About Puppies! (10/17/21)

As described in our last post (below, or this link), Our wonderful "Lady" had 9 puppies this week. This is her fourth litter, and she will be fully retired to live with her amazing "Guardian Family" once these puppies are mature enough.

This was Lady as she first joined her Guardian Family. These great guys are all much older now, and I will have to watch my back after posting this picture...

Here is a new picture of Lady as she oversees her new puppies.

Lady is an amazing mom; she is protective, loving, nurturing, and protective (she wanted me to say that twice). When she's not being a Mommy, Lady is one of the kindest and gentlest dogs in her neighborhood. Her house is always full of visitors and she loves belly rubs when she meets you.

(As an aside, it is not surprising for me to run into people who know Lady's guardian family, and when they find out I'm "The Breeder Guy", they always go on and on about how they love Lady! Which, I know, just means Lady is in a wonderful family!)

OK, back to the reason you are here....Puppies!

Lady gave birth to nine F1B Goldendoodles on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. In common accord with almost all dog moms, Lady decided to begin delivering late at night. All of the deliveries were normal, and all of the puppies have looked and acted healthy since the moment they were born. I had the privilege of "sleeping" on the floor with Lady as she went through the birthing process. Somewhere around 2:00 AM, and after seven puppies, I ran out of energy and awoke at 4:00 AM to see the full nine puppies. (My wife thinks I would have slept through the birth of our own children, but that's another story...)

This litter has six boys and three girls. They will grow to "medium size", which means about 45-50 pounds. Both Lady and the Dad, "Murf", weigh about 45 pounds so we feel that is a fair estimate. This is their first litter together, so we don't have past pictures, but we know they will be adorable - they already are!

Many people ask what "F1B" means, so here goes:

If you are looking for a perfect family dog, you have found the right litter. We go out of our way to raise our puppies in a highly socialized (not politically) environment where they have many age-appropriate experiences. For you, the "F1B" probably means very little.

F1B describes the genetic history of these puppies in a broad context. What it means is that Lady is an F1 Goldendoodle (her parents were an AKC Poodle and an AKC Golden Retriever). Lady was then bred with an AKC standard poodle (Murf) and that is what the "B" stands for.

If I put that in human terms, it means there is more poodle blood in her than golden retriever blood. Her puppies will be quite smart, and will still have the temperament of a golden retriever - and have even less shedding, and even less allergy causing issues than an "F1" Goldendoodle.

 Bust out some pictures!!

The three girls have collar colors Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Orange.

The boys are: Green, Yellow, Red, Purple, Black, and Brown.

There is quite a variety of color (some darker, some lighter) and it looks like some coats will be curlier than others. It takes a while for the coats to fully come in, but Lady does not have an overly curly coat, so I expect many of these puppies will have a looser, wavy coat.

Details: (I hope you're still reading) These puppies are being offered for $1,800 each. A $250 deposit will hold your puppy until they are old enough to go home - approximately December 10th. The balance ($1,550) is due at or before final pickup. I accept cash, Venmo, and PayPal for all payments, and I will accept a personal check for the deposit only.

All puppies will be independently checked by a local Veterinarian, and they will have their full battery of 8-week vaccines and de-wormer medications. They will come with a full medical history and they will be micro-chipped.

I will be contacting people who have previously expressed interest in puppies in the next day or two. I expect the girls to be reserved VERY quickly. I will set up a day/time in about 4-5 weeks where people who have put a deposit down on a puppy can play with the puppies and choose which one they would like to adopt. Once that has been done, in the order of received deposits, the remaining puppies - if there are any - will be available for general adoption. Once the puppies are selected, the deposits are non-refundable.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the puppies further, feel free to email me at: Info@CuteGoldendoodles.com or contact me through the contact info on this site.

Thank you!
