Pregnant Mommy Spa Day!

Here at the Pregnant Puppy Palace (a/k/a Chateau d' Our House), today was the time for some spa services for Penny. We treat her as a pampered member of our family, and she is perfectly happy with that.

Our spa routine here at "The Palace" is to start with a good sound slumber.

Step 1: Nailed it!

After a satisfactory time of "relaxation" (3 - 4 hours), then it is off to the bath:

"I thought there would be more bubbles!"
After a top to bottom scrub down using special oatmeal and citrus shampoo - there are probably some essential oils in there too - it is time for a warm towel rub down and fluff:

Then it is off to the snack bar for some healthy "revitalization" (lunch).

What's the old shampoo line: "Lather, rinse, repeat"? She's on to the couch to start all over...

Ahh, the dog's life!

Hi! I'm Penny!

I'm going to have puppies in a few weeks. This will be my third time having puppies. It is a lot of work, but everyone tells me how good a Mommy I am, so I enjoy it. My puppies are also VERY cute. As their Mom, I have to say they are cute, but all the humans that see come to see them say things like: "Oh, my goodness! They are adorable!" I just know they wouldn't lie!

I am a Moyen/Klein Poodle, but the puppy-daddy (Billy) is a Mini-Goldendoodle, so my human keeps saying my puppies will be F1b Mini-Goldendoodles. I always make sure he tells people to look at our SIZING and GENERATIONS Page to understand how big my puppies will be, but they will usually be about my size. Ladies shouldn't brag, but I'm proud to say I weigh about 25 pounds and I am almost 15" tall at my shoulders.

As you can see in my pictures, I love to sit on a human's lap and let them pet me - although sometimes this human talks about his hand falling off - whatever that means. I'm also starting to lose my bikini figure, but my human just laughs at me and says I "look cute!" If I could get up onto the bed, I would pee on his pillow! (Don't tell him that!)

My Dr. tells me I will have "8 or 9 puppies" and they will be born about March 12. I'll be done raising them and they will ready to live with you about 8 weeks later. (May 15th?) Fortunately for me, until my puppies go to live with you, they get to play with a lot of people here. I have my "staff" come in every day and play and snuggle with my puppies. Sometimes it is the kids who live with me - they are pretty cute too - and sometimes it is their friends. Sometimes it's just other big humans. My puppies always love people.

If you want to get more information about me, or my "ADORABLE" puppies, please contact my human - he handles all of my press releases.

Info@CuteGoldendoodles.com or 517_256_5668 with calls or texts. His wife says he's always on his phone, so he better be pretty quick in getting back to you...

You can also see some of my puppies from past years at the cleverly named PAST PUPPY PICTURES page. If the puppy is small and cute, it's probably one of mine!

I hope to meet you soon!

Reservation Updates: 2/10/2020

I have received the first 2 deposits for puppies from Penny's litter this year. She will be having "8 to 9 puppies," according the to Vet as he read the ultrasound.

If you are considering adopting a puppy from this litter, PLEASE do not wait! People who have adopted from past litters are all telling their friends to get one, so they will be going quickly.

If you would like more information, please read the next posting below, or contact us for more information: info@CuteGoldendoodles.com or call/text 517-256-5668

Penny is Pregnant!!

We took Penny in for an ultrasound today and it was confirmed that she is pregnant. The Dr. lost count (I think), but he did feel there were "8 or 9 puppies - maybe more." Last year Penny gave birth to 11 puppies and they were all healthy and strong. She has been a wonderful Mom! We expect the same results this year.

For those of you just joining us, Penny is 24 pound Moyen/Klein poodle. That means she is considered a Standard Poodle by the AKC guidelines, but is only slightly larger than a miniature poodle, but maybe with longer legs and a calmer attitude than a miniature poodle.

The Dad is "Billy" and he is a 30 pound fluff-ball of a miniature F1 Goldendoodle. That means Penny's puppies will be F1b - or, roughly, 3-parts poodle and 1-part golden retriever. F1b Goldendoodles have an even lower likelihood of shedding or of causing allergic reactions for most people.

Her puppies should grow to about 25-30 pounds when fully grown. There are more pictures of both Penny and Billy on our Mommy Dogs and Daddy Dogs pages, but here are a couple for starters.

Penny Loves to sleep when she is pregnant. Sometimes she sleeps too long. We have her wear a diaper - just in case.

Billy loves to play!

Here are a couple of pictures of Penny's past puppies, as sent in by their new families. These dogs are all about a year old in these pictures.

I have a list of people who have expressed a strong interest in adopting one of Penny's puppies. I will be contacting them this week, and then I will open for deposits starting Monday February 10.

More to come!
