Vet Visit and Outdoor Fun

With the puppies ready to go to their forever homes this coming weekend, today was the time to take them to the vet for their "healthy puppy checkup." The vet checks their heart and lungs, hips, eyes, teeth, etc.

They all passed with flying colors! Here are some pictures of our day - including the puppies playing with "aunt" Pupcake and "cousin" Penny. (Neither are related in any way to these puppies - they just live with us)

Puppy Vet Check

For those who are eagerly following our site for updates on their newest family member, I honestly WILL post photos and videos soon - I have them ready to go - the days have been busy!

Also, our vet appointment to have the puppies checked out and fawned over is this coming Monday at 3:00 PM. 

I will update after that appointment too. 

Everything is going as expected and the puppies are loving playing in the yard with our children - and our neighbors' children too. I'm not sure who will miss them more, but I do know they are being loved!!

We had remarkable interest in this litter and we are happy to let you know that all puppies have been adopted!

Stay Tuned! We should have another litter later this year - although not with Lilly.

And Then There Was One...

Light Blue Girl was just adopted. A great family just selected her. 

The mom is a school teacher and loves that the puppies will be going home just after school is over. Imagine, the whole summer to play with a ball of fluff!

Red boy is still available and, in spite of the fact he will be the last one chosen, he is the one I would have chosen first. He is a lot of fun and he bounces around like a kitten. Very, very cute!

Purple Girl - Adopted!

A wonderful family fell in love with Purple Girl tonight and they adopted her on the spot. 

This leaves Red Boy, and Light Blue Girl. 

Red Boy would have been adopted tonight if they wanted a boy; they loved him!

Light Blue Girl is going to be the perfect puppy for the perfect family! They are just waiting to meet each other!!

Lilly's Puppies - 5 Weeks Old

As promised, even if still later than I planned, here are some pictures of Lilly's puppies at 5 weeks old (plus a couple days).

All of the puppies are growing normally and we are very pleased with the progress they are making. They have successfully transitioned to wet dog food and Lilly has returned to her guardian home. Everything is happening at the expected and normal time.

But first... Here is a quick video of the puppies playing in their yard play-pen as I get ready for the photo shoot:


My son, Carson, told me he would help hold the puppies if I didn't include him in the pictures. I tried.

There are (as of noon today) only 3 puppies left. They are all shown below (Red-Boy, and Purple-Girl, and Light Blue-Girl)

Blue Boy Has Been Adopted

Blue boy - "Charlie" - has been adopted and his new humans are really looking forward to the end of June when he will go home with them!

That leaves 3 puppies available. 

Purple girl - one of my favorites (a great snuggler)

Light Blue girl - my daughter calls her "winter" - although I'm not sure why. 

Red boy - the last available boy. This cute boy is kind of quiet and a little shy. He's not the first into a scuffle; he likes to hang back and watch a little. I think that is the only reason he hasn't been adopted yet. He will be a great family dog! Loves to cuddle and I can imagine him sleeping at your feet. Cutie!
