Post Christmas Update

As of 4:00 PM on 12/26/2016, all of the puppies from Scout's 2016 litter are with their forever families and loving their new homes - one of which is in Puerto Rico! Yes, one of our puppies, Miss Blue ("Olivia") was adopted by a family from Puerto Rico and now lives there. What a change of weather!

It is good that all of these puppies have now moved to their new homes because, as of yesterday morning, we now have a new litter of puppies!!!

Pictures and info soon!

One Last Puppy - Ready for Christmas

It is always sad to announce we have one last puppy available. People always wonder, "what's wrong with it?" or "why did other people NOT choose it?"

Well, I usually say something along the lines of, "Even when a Cadillac dealer sells the last car on the lot, it's still a Cadillac!"

Our last puppy in this litter is Miss Red. She is also known as "The Kissing Bandit" because she loves to give kisses.

Give us a call quickly to adopt this sweet thing!!

The Remaining Puppies

UPDATE: No sooner had I posted this article than our first family chose Miss Mint.

We often set aside a puppy from one of our litters for a "special purpose." We currently have 7 reservations for our 8 puppies - and one we have been setting aside.

Here are the puppies that have not yet been reserved. We have Miss Green "on Hold" for the moment - due to a special situation we want to help with - but the other three are available to select and reserve.

We have 3 people who are waiting to choose their specific puppy, but who have already reserved one.
1. Kristi - Miss Mint
2. Tyler
3. Pam

All of their coats are identical. They have wavy hair that curls when it is washed. They are identical in color, and without their collars, it would be almost impossible to tell them apart. Miss Red is probably the largest, but they are all within a pound or two of each other, and all within normal parameters.

Miss Red - She loves to play. She is passionate in her play - and in her lovin'. She loves to explore and also snuggle in your lap. She's one of my favorites.
Little tongue sticking out!

Miss Purple - She is truly a "nuzzler". She loves to sit quietly and let you pet her. She is very content to snuggle and relax.

Miss Green - She is temporarily "on hold" for a special situation we have. That should also give us time to wash the dried food off her nose!

Miss Mint/Light Blue SHE HAS BEEN RESERVED - Her eyes are my favorite! She loves to watch people and other dogs. She's no push-over when it is time to stand her ground, but she is one of the smallest in the litter, and she is happy with that.

Post Spa Play Time

After their refreshing spa treatments, the puppies wanted to play. Yay!

(Yes. Many of them were enthralled with the running dishwasher, but we still got some play in.)

Spa Day!

Today we opened our family "Puppy Spa" and gave "treatments" to each of the 8 puppies.

Everyone received a warm soapy bath, followed by a "paw-d-cure", towel massage, blow dry, 5-way vaccine, and significant play time from our kids - who decided they would rather play with the puppies than help the cleaning.

First up: Miss Orange (She has been reserved)

Next: Miss Blue. She has been reserved and her new name will be "Olivia"

My daughter taking a "much needed" break to play and snuggle:

Mr. White: (He has been reserved) The only boy in the litter - and boy is he a sweetheart! He has a sweet personality. Loves to play.

White toes

"Look into my eyes!! You MUST adopt me!!"
Miss Pink: (She has been reserved) Also known as "Mittens" due to her white paws on her back feet. (I never said we had original names...) She LOVES to snuggle with my daughter!!!

Miss Red:"The Kissing Bandit!" She is the one to watch. If you are not careful, she will crawl up your arm and give "kisses". She also kissed my daughter's ear a number of times during the photo shoot.

More play time!

Miss Green:  She's the smallest of the litter. Her weight is all within the normal parameters, but she is the little girl. Cute and playful.

Miss Purple: "The Nuzzler" She loves to walk over to her sisters and burrow into their pile of furry-ness.

Miss Mint: (I call her Miss Light Blue, but my daughter insists on "mint") She has the cutest little eyes. She watches everything.
