Stella's Puppies are Here!
Last night, Friday the 18th, Stella gave birth to six beautiful and healthy F1 Goldendoodle puppies. Three girls and three boys. Mom and babies are doing great and the night was a smoothe one.
I'll have more pictures later, but here is a quick shot of Stella and her pups!

Puppies are Coming!!!!
Stella is due to have puppies born about September 15th, 2015. We are expecting 6 puppies. We will post more information soon, but you can see pictures of Stella, and the Dad (Bailey) on the tabs at the top of this site. Also, if you scroll down a bit, you will see pictures from their 2014 litter. I can't promise anything, but simple genetics tells me the 2015 puppies will be just as adorable as the 2014 ones!!

Dog vs. Ice Cream
My daughter and I stopped at McDonald's for a cherished 59 cent ice cream cone - what a great treat! When we left home it was pouring cats and... goldendoodles, so we decided to bring Pupcake with us.
In order to save my cone, I splurged and bout Pupcake a cone, too - in a dish.
She loved it! (No, I wasn't driving. I parked past the drive thru window)
Then, on the way back home, Pupcake decided to sit on my daughter's lap - in her car seat...

Lilly
Lilly is an English Cream Golden Retriever. That means she is cream colored and will have a more boxy face and will be slightly shorter than the more common Golden Retrievers we typically see in America.

Running in the Snowy Field
I took Scout and Lilly out for a little run today. They love the extra exercise and since the kids were home on a snow day it was perfect.
Although I don't usually take their leash off, it's nice to see how they stay nearby - or return right away. They are very good dogs, and someone will love them very soon!

All Puppies Have Been Adopted
All of our new-born puppies are adopted, but if you still have a puppy "fix" you can't shake loose, please check out our tab, "What is a Guardian Home?" This might be a great way for you to get a dog for your family!

Vet Visit
It was a little chaotic but the puppies and I made it happen!
The vet checked them all out and declared them all healthy, happy, and said, "they even smell good!" I was surprised by that comment, but the Vet was excited, so... there it is!
All of the people at the Williamston Animal Clinic were awesome! I was a little maxed with 7 puppies so it was very nice that they were so great and helpful!

Puppies 7 Weeks old!!

We still have 3 puppies available - the rest are all adopted.
We will try to get some individual pictures up this weekend, but first the fun stuff! The puppies are now 7 weeks old and they are truly a bundle of fun. We have vaccines scheduled for this weekend and official vet checks on Tuesday. They should be ready to go to their forever homes this next weekend.
Today my 6 year-old daughter and I took them out in the yard for some exercise and "lovin'!"

Stella's Puppies - Five and a Half Weeks!
Wow! It is amazing how fast time flies by... Just "yesterday" we were posting the three week pictures and now it is coming up on six... (I think our family trip over the school break made time go quickly too, but it still seems fast for us.) I'm sure those of you who have already adopted a puppy are on the edge of your seat for updates. I apologize for the delay!
Anyway, here we are at 5 1/2 weeks, and the puppies are growing exactly as expected. They are developing more personality, and they are active more frequently. The 23 hours of sleep each day are in the past!
The puppies are just finishing being nursed and are transitioning into dry foods. That process will take another week or so. Everything is progressing according to our expectations.

Breeder's Choice Girl - Purple Ribbon
She has the darkest coat of the three girls in the litter, and she is one of our daughter's favorites. She is very mild in temperament and has a wonderful coat.
Yellow Ribbon Girl
(The flash and the lighting in some of the pictures plays tricks in the posted pictures. Yellow Girl is lighter than Purple Girl - but not by much.)
Yellow girl has always been one of the more active puppies in this litter. She isn't aggressive, or feisty, but she was one of the first to start "talking" to her siblings and always seems to be in the middle of the group; the center of attention.
She's a real cutey!
Red Ribbon Boy
He has always been the "snuggler." He has been the quietest one, and the one who would fall asleep in your arms the fastest. He has a very pretty coat, and the darker ears that seem to go with the lighter coat color.
And now on to the puppies that have already been adopted:
Breeder's Choice - Green Ribbon Boy "Sparty" - (HE IS ADOPTED)
You just can't go wrong with a name like "Sparty" - especially if you are a football fan. He was hard to photograph because he just kept wanting to crawl into our arms.
Blue Ribbon - Boy (He is the lightest color boy) (HE IS ADOPTED)
(My son calls him "Fluffy" because of his coat, but his family name will be "Sir Winston Alistair" - an awesome name for a very playful puppy.)
Tan Ribbon - Boy (HE IS ADOPTED)
(Full disclosure: we ran out of tan ribbon, so we had to use black. Black/Tan - sounded like a drink in an English pub, so we went with it.)
I think he is going to have a wonderful coat as he gets older.
Orange Ribbon - Girl (SHE IS ADOPTED)
She was the first puppy adopted in this litter, and still holds a wonderful spot in my daughter's heart. I think this is the puppy my daughter will cry over the most when she goes to her permanent home.

Three week old puppies do just about 4 things - and only 4 things. They eat, sleep, look adorable, and, well, make a mess. These puppies are completely normal in all these areas, except, maybe, the adorable part. That is their special skill!
