We give them each a thorough bath and rinse, we trim their nails, deworm them, and if the time is right, we give them a round of 5-way vaccines. (All of our puppies are fully vaccinated and dewormed at the vet-recommended times, and will be up to date when you adopt them.)
The puppies LOVE the bath, put up with the nail trimming, and mostly prefer NOT to be near the blow dryer! We make sure it's not too hot - and not too cold - and we try not to blow it into their eyes, but they generally want it to end soon.
Here are some pictures of this litter's first spa day. We had a friend of my daughter come over to help. She LOVES puppies, and is trying to talk her parents into adopting one of ours - they already have one of ours from about 6 years ago.
