Lady's Puppies - 2 Weeks Old

I've had some struggles in getting updates posted lately. Each day it seems like it goes from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a blink of the eye. Then again, I think my children are still 5 and 3 - and that was 7 years ago. Wow!

Anyway, here are some pictures of Lady's 9 puppies. For a quick update: Lady is an F1 Goldendoodle and these puppies are F1b Goldendoodles. If you want more info on those terms, click here. The Dad, Oliver, weighs about the same as Lady (~43 pounds) so that is the size we expect these puppies to grow to. We call those "Medium" sized. They should have long legs, and mostly wavy coats - not too much of a tight curl. They should have almost no shedding, and they will be very unlikely to cause allergic reactions.

There are 5 boys and 4 girls in this litter. We have a family that has reserved "pick of the litter" and they are leaning toward a girl, but final decisions will be made on January 27th. These puppies will be ready to go to your home on the weekend of February 23/24.

Their eyes are just opening, and their legs are just getting strong enough to walk - right on target! But, that doesn't mean they were willing to sit still for pictures!!

OK, now on to the pictures:

Lady kept a VERY close eye on her puppies - and me! I passed her screening, and she allowed me to continue...

Miss Blue:  A deep chocolaty brown. Very pretty shading.

Mr. White: He has a cute white stripe down his face, and a lot of white on his chest. VERY adorable!

Mr. Black: A nice deep color - and very active! He did NOT want to sit still for his pictures.

Miss Purple:  A gentle little girl. Very curious.

Mr. Orange:  Very snuggle and attentive. He wanted to watch everything I did.

Mr. Gray (the collar looks a lot like "white" but Mr. White has white stripes): A little camera shy.

Miss Yellow ("Lemon" to my daughter): Very pretty, but I think I woke her up, and all she wanted to do is snuggle in and sleep.

Mr. Red: The smallest little bundle of cuteness in the litter. Very healthy and active, but also the smallest. Impossible to look at him and not say, "awwww!"

Miss Green: Very cute - but wanted to sleep more than just smile and look cute.

"What, exactly, is that pink thing, and why is it there?"
