Yes, it's true! Our "Lady" is due to deliver puppies around October 14th - give or take a couple days.
This will be Lady's final litter. She will be retired as a mom - well, more correctly, she will not have any more litters after this. Can you ever "retire" from being a mom?
Lady is a 45 pound F1 Goldendoodle. That means one of her parents was 100% poodle and the other 100% Golden Retriever. At her size and weight, we call her "medium" sized.

The dad for this year's litter is a new one for us. His name is "Murf". We contracted with Murf's human so he would be the daddy of Lady's puppies. Murf is an AKC standard poodle and is almost the exact same size as Lady. That will make the puppies F1B Goldendoodles that should eventually grow to about 40-45 pounds.
Oh, and the puppies will be beautiful!!! Here are some pictures of Murf:
