Happy Birthday Puppies! (11/8)

Today is a very important day in the life of these F1B Goldendoodles. They are now 4 weeks old!! Why is that important, you ask? (You did ask, didn't you?) Well, so much has happened in the last week or so, and they are now, truly puppies!

"Wait! Were they something else before now? Haven't they always been puppies?"

Yes...and... No...

When puppies are born, they are really just blobs of cuteness. There's nothing wrong with blobs of cute fur, but it's like having kids of your own. When they first start walking, well, THAT'S when the fun really starts!

Moments after birth...

Yesterday... See what I mean?

Within the last 7-10 days, the puppies have started walking on their legs and, more importantly, their eyes have opened! It seems like so much has happened in so little time.

To be fair, I'm not sure anyone is more "excited" about this growth than mom, Lady.

Lady is wondering why she had 9 puppies!

Lady is one of our excellent Moms, and these puppies are greatly loved and nurtured by her. This is her final litter, and she is looking forward to "retirement" and simply barking at mailmen and squirrels, and getting belly rubs!

To catch everyone up: Lady delivered 9 healthy puppies on October 12th. There were 6 boys and 3 girls. Of those puppies, three have been reserved. We will have the reservation selection day this Saturday (November 13). At least 2 of the girls have been reserved. As soon as all three families have selected their puppies, the remaining puppies will be available on a first come basis.

The puppies are F1B "Medium" Goldendoodles. If you want more info on what that means, CLICK HERE They will be ready to go to their final homes on December 11. At that point they will have been checked by an independent Veterinarian, Be fully up to date on vaccines and de-wormings, and they will also be micro-chipped.

Get in touch with me and ask any questions you may have. I am happy to answer any and all questions - well, maybe not about politics...

Here are some pictures!
