Yes, that's right! For Christmas this year, we expect a litter of puppies under the tree!
(Editors Note: The author of this posting has assured the Editors that the puppies won't actually be "under the tree", as that would be unsafe and unsanitary. We are hoping you understand it is figuratively "under the tree".)
Piper, a new Mommy for us is expecting a bunch of little fur-balls on, or about, the 24th of this month. We will find out how many puppies we will have, via x-ray on the 17th.
Piper weighs approximately 30 pounds and is an F1 Goldendoodle. Her mom was an AKC Golden Retriever, and her dad was an AKC miniature poodle. We purchased Piper as a puppy and she lives, and is greatly loved, in a local Guardian Home.
The dad for this litter is "Harley". He is an AKC miniature poodle weighing approximately 17 pounds. Since this is the first litter from Piper and Harley, I can't commit to the final weights of the puppies, but I would expect them to be in the 20-30 pound range and about 17"-19" at the withers (top of back).
The puppies will be F1B mini-goldendoodles, which means they will be even less likely to shed, or to cause allergic reactions for people.
